The New Wine Review Is Live!

Hello, Wine Friend!
We’re thrilled to announce that the beta version of The New Wine Review is live!
You’re getting this email because you’re a friend of one of our editors or are a special person who received an invitation to sign up for early access.
A few things we’d love for you to do as you take a first look:
Sign up for our email newsletter. When you visit the site, you’re probably going to hit an email signup wall. That’s intentional: we want to have a relationship with our readers. We’re not playing the traffic/ad impression game, so email is our best way of communicating directly with our readers, alerting them to new, terrific things on the site, and ensuring that we’re doing a good job.
Subscribe! You’re probably going to hit a paywall. That’s also intentional: we’re a subscription-based company, which means our business depends largely on readers liking us a lot.So, if you like what you see, consider subscribing for full access to our premium content, reviews, reports, chat community, custom travel maps and live digital events. And if you do subscribe, make sure to join our subscribers-only Slack channels. There’s about to be a lot going on over there.
Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. And when you see something you like there, comment, like it, share it, post it. Doing these things helps tell the platform algorithms that our content is worth showing to more people.
Tell us what you think! Good and bad. Every bit of feedback helps us make The New Wine Review better.
There’s already a lot of great content up on the site, so we invite you to jump in. A few highlights:
A quick survey of what everyone’s drinking in London, Boulder, St. Helena and the East Village
A Master of Wine’s guide to this year’s Bordeaux En Primeur
NYT Cooking’s Sam Sifton on the joys of buffalo wings, Chateau Lafite and the perfect deli
Fifty-three 2019 Napa Cabs, reviewed and rated (subscribers-only)
A spirited debate with ourselves about the merits and stupidity of the 100-point rating scale
What you need to know about the 2021 vintage in Burgundy (red and white)
How to find extremely rare scotch
An expert introduction to Aligoté, including 124 wines reviewed and rated (subscribers-only)
Thank you so much for your interest and support—we’re delighted to have you with us. Happy reading!
